Wanderer is made by Azu Apps LLC, a New York limited liability company. "We" and "us" mean Azu Apps LLC; "you" means the person using the app or the site. You can reach us at hello@wandererapp.co.

These terms cover the Wanderer iOS app, app.wandererapp.co, and wandererapp.co. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and is part of this agreement.

By creating an account or continuing to use Wanderer, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Wanderer.

You must be at least 13 years old to hold a Wanderer account. This is a firm floor: we ask your date of birth when you sign up, and an account that reports an age under 13 is refused.

Check in — the feature that shows friends which city you are in — requires you to be at least 16. Everything else in Wanderer works from 13 up.

Give us a truthful date of birth. We rely on it, and an account we later find to be under age will be closed. If you believe we have your age wrong, email hello@wandererapp.co and we will look at it and correct it — we do not want to lock anyone out on a typo.

One account per person. Do not share your account, and do not create an account on someone else's behalf.

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code, or with Apple. There is no password to lose, which also means anyone holding your phone or your number can reach your account — keep both secure and tell us if you lose control of either.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you change phone numbers, update your account before you give up the old number.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harass or endanger another person, or that we are required to close by law. Where we can, we will tell you why.

Wanderer is a travel reference. Entry requirements, visa rules, vaccination guidance, safety advisories, currency notes and etiquette are general information gathered from public sources. They are not legal, immigration, medical, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for it.

Rules change without notice and vary by nationality, route, purpose of travel and the officer in front of you. Before you travel, confirm everything that matters against the official source — the destination government, the relevant embassy or consulate, your own government's travel advice, and a qualified professional where health or immigration status is involved. Those sources govern; we do not.

We work to keep the catalog accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is. Do not rely on Wanderer alone for a decision you cannot undo — a booking, a border crossing, a vaccination, a visa filing.

Checking in is always something you do deliberately. Wanderer does not track you in the background, does not follow you between cities, and does not read your location unless you ask it to find your city at the moment you check in.

A check-in shows a city — never a street, an address, or a coordinate. It shows for three days and then disappears on its own.

You choose who sees it. Sharing with a friend requires both of you to agree, and either of you can stop it at any time, immediately, without telling the other. If you would rather nobody saw where you were, simply do not check in.

Check in is a social feature, not a safety service. Do not use it as a way for anyone to find you in an emergency, to prove where you were, or as the thing keeping someone informed of your whereabouts. It is not reliable enough for any of that, and we do not promise it will be delivered, be timely, or be available.

Treat other people's check-ins with the care you would want. Do not pass them on, publish them, or use them to show up somewhere unwelcome. Using Wanderer to follow, harass, or intimidate someone will cost you your account and may be a crime.

Wanderer miles are a score inside a game. They have no cash value, they are not currency, property, credit, or a loyalty balance, they cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or redeemed for anything, and they carry no value if your account closes.

We may adjust, correct, or reset miles and leaderboards — to fix a scoring bug, to remove miles obtained by cheating, or when we change how a game works. Boards are reset at launch, and we may run seasons that reset on a schedule.

Play the games as they are meant to be played. Automating a game, exploiting a scoring bug rather than reporting it, or running multiple accounts to climb a board will have the miles removed and may close the account.

The countries you mark, the places you save, the passports you add and the check-ins you post stay yours. You are not giving them to us.

You do give us the permission we need to run the service for you: to store what you add, show it back to you across your devices, show a check-in to the friends you chose, and include your play in leaderboards and in anonymous aggregate counts like "popular this week". That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for aggregate figures that no longer identify you and anything we must keep by law.

Only add what is yours to add, and do not add anything unlawful or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

Scrape, bulk-download, or resell the catalog; use automated means to access Wanderer beyond ordinary use of the app; or build a competing dataset from it.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the security of the app or our backend, or access data belonging to another user.

Impersonate another person, harass or endanger anyone, or use Wanderer to break the law.

Interfere with the service — overload it, probe it, or disrupt anyone else's use of it.

Wanderer is free, and we may add, change, or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you rely on, we will try to say so in advance in the app.

We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance.

We may change these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Wanderer after that means you accept it. If you do not, delete your account.

You can leave whenever you want: Account → Delete account removes your account and your data immediately and permanently. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.

We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Wanderer. The sections that should outlive the agreement — the disclaimers, the liability limit, and the governing-law clause — do.

WANDERER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE TRAVEL INFORMATION IN WANDERER IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, OR THAT CHECK-INS OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE DELIVERED.

Some places do not allow these exclusions. Where that is true, they do not apply to you, and nothing here takes away a consumer right you have by law that cannot be waived.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AZU APPS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST TRAVEL COSTS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF WANDERER.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO WANDERER IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). Wanderer is free; this is the bargain that lets us offer it that way.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

This agreement is between you and Azu Apps LLC only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Wanderer or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Wanderer. If Wanderer fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund your purchase price — which for Wanderer is nothing — and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Azu Apps LLC, not Apple, is responsible for any claim relating to Wanderer: product liability, any failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and any claim that Wanderer infringes someone's intellectual property.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction — except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court, and nothing stops you from bringing a claim in the courts of the country where you live if the law where you live gives you that right.
